Lucy’s Bookshelf – Bookshelves Abound = #Shelfie 04

This week Lucy's Bookshelf continues the series of bookshelf postings. This is one of two bookshelves that Lucy has books on. The other will feature on its own post another time. Lucy's Bookshelf Lucy's bookshelf in her bedroom This is Lucy's bookshelf, it's in her bedroom and as well as books it also has a small menagerie of stuffed and plastic animals on top of it. Like most of our bookcases this one came from Ikea. Unlike most of them it is small and white so that it matches the rest of Lucy's bedroom furniture. This is not unique as Lucy's bookshelf (there is another downstairs in the living room and we regularly swap the books around so that she has a chance with them all). Drusilla’s Zoo

I've got house guests, so been a bit too busy the last couple of days to write any posts. More will happen at the weekend. We had an awesome day out with my daughter and my niece at Drusilla's yesterday. I'd heartily recommend it for anyone with pre-schoolers or primary age children. A Daughter!

Earlier today, we went on a family trip to the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard with one of Alexander's friends. We managed an early start, and were there for the place opening at 10am. The morning was spent in Action Stations, an interactive play area with lots of simulators and things to do. The kids loved it, and so did I (although I don't think I'll qualify to fly Merlin helicopters). Tracy even managed to have a go on some of it. After lunch (about 1230) we decided to go and see HMS Victory, Nelson's flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar. On the way round Tracy mentioned that she'd felt something strange inside her, but wasn't sure what it was.
