Tides of Winter by R.T. Lowe [Book Review]
Tides Of Winter by Lowe My rating: 5 of 5 stars Tides of Winter is the third installment in the Felix Chronicles. It's still awesome, in fact I'd say that Lowe is getting better with each book. It's shaping into a series that I'd love to see on screen. A sort of cross between Harry Potter at college and Buffy the Vampire Slayer (albeit without actual vampires, but plenty of monsters are slain). Tides of Winter Review Tides of Winter has a lot of parallels with the worst fears of Americans under their 45th President, although it must have been finished before the outcome of the election was known. Five Days in January by R.T. Lowe [Book Review]
The Felix Chronicles: Five Days in January by Lowe My rating: 4 of 5 stars Five Days in January is the second in the Felix Chronicles series and follows on from where The Felix Chronicles: Freshmen left off. As Five Days in January progresses Felix changes. As do the other main characters. The world around them is getting more…

I didn’t get the itch to write a novel until I had been practicing law for quite some time. How do you deal with the stranger reviews? Since I’m new to the business of having my writing reviewed I have to admit that I find it all a bit terrifying. If an established writer receives some negative reviews it’s not the end of the world as generally a flood of positive reviews will swallow them up and render the “one stars” almost instantly forgotten. For someone like me, on the other…
